fatty update

This was supposed to post about a week or so ago, but I was having trouble with the html. Let's see if this time is any better.

It's been a while. This will be mostly pictures.

In early October, there was a visitation. My roommate's friend Justin came on holiday from Purdue. We took him to Howl, since he'd never been (even though there's one in Chicago, and he lives there!).




That Monday, I took him to The Price is Right, which he'd already tried to get onto 2 or 3 times. Apparently I'm good luck, because we made it. And good thing too, because Bob's just announced he's retiring, and Justin would literally have died if he didn't get onto this show before Bob retired or kicked the bucket.

Immediately after Justin left to go back to Purdue, I left for Kansas City to visit Jenny & her husband, JR.



When I got home from Kansas City, I went to the Coronet Theater on La Cienega with my sister to see Eddie Izzard. I was a little disappointed he dressed as a man (he's a transvestite, for those of you who don't know) but his show was hilarious. I got a picture with him afterward, and he looks pretty tired, but whatever. I'm posting it anyway, because I just can't believe I got to stand with my arm around this man!


After that was our Halloween Party at Howl (the Saturday before Halloween, actually).



And another little foray to Howl on Halloween night for what was supposed to be karaoke/jam night. It was a weird vibe that night, but the costumes were great.
