A traffic violation for $351!
Here's the kicker: I really didn't do it!
Last week, I turned my car in for service at the dealership. Apparently, while test driving to make sure the proper maintenance had been done and everything was hooked back up the way it should be, the driver turn right against a red light.
Which, according the ticket I got, is against the law at that intersection.
So the trusty traffic cam snapped a picture and sent me a lovely ticket.
Here's the cool part: I have proof my car was with the dealer the whole day (7:15 am till 5:00 pm - violation occurred at 2:50 pm); I don't look like a guy (which a copy of my driver's license will prove); and in the picture, there's an orange service cone w/ a call number on it, that I don't normally drive around with. I think that should solve my problem.
Of course, the service manager doesn't believe, and won't until he gets a copy of the ticket. Which he'll have as soon as I can make myself some copies.
