I took almost 70 photos today. It's hard choosing one to post. Part of that is none of them are great - perhaps I used all my talent on my prologue last night? - and part is that those that are passable appeal to me equally.

I will, however, choose. And I'm posting more than one photo. For two reasons: 1) it's my blog, I get to say!; and b) it's my birthday, and I want to.

First, one of the best photos from our night on the mountain, turning 32 while holding Hubs's hand, watching a few meteors shoot off like the fastest sparklers I've ever seen - and all just for me.
