4. Have you ever licked a 9 volt battery? yes, it's jolting. what's more fun is putting your finger in an outlet. you can feel the jolt in your heart and your fingers tingle for days! not that i've done it on purpose....

5. Last time you swam in a pool? May 17 @ 930 am, in Palm Springs, because it was already 85 degrees. freakin' A!

7. How many cars have you owned? 2, i bought the second by myself! :D

9. Are you registered to vote? of course, it's my right & responsibility. and it may be the only way to save this country, but i'm not going to hold my breath on that

10. Do you have cable? yes, i might not survive without it sometimes. although at times it makes me feel materialistic and mentally clouded

11. What kind of computer do you use? at home i have a Dell... at work it's whatever piece of crap isn't on the verge of blowing up

Ever made a prank phone call? no, but i've received many. my fave was in college. some idiot thought it would be funny to jack off in my ear in the middle of the night. i told him i was impressed he could find it and encouraged him to call back the next night if he had the same kind of luck. he hung up on me!

14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? sky diving. explain this to me. i can't stand the idea of bouncing toward the earth repeatedly at the end of a bungee cord, but i am willing to plummet many hundreds of miles an hour, from many hundreds of miles up in the atmosphere. shrug....

17. Do you know all the words to the national anthem? yes, but it takes me a minute to remember them. and i'm not very proud of this country right now, so i don't always make the effort

18. Shower, morning or night? morning, it's the only way to wake my ass up. and the rest of me, for that matter!

19. Best movie you've seen in the past month? i haven't seen anything in the theater in a long time, but i watched Garden State again last night, and i LOVE that movie

20. Favorite pizza toppings? extra cheese, mushrooms & black olives. i can also be easily persuaded to have (instead) ham & pineapple. sometimes i consent to pants, as well, for the sake of friends ;-)

21. Chips or popcorn? usually i abstain. too many chips and i feel yucky & popcorn gets stuck in my teeth

27. Favorite chocolate bar? i don't really have one. sometimes i like 3 muskateers because of the mousse-y-like filling... sometimes Reece's peanut butter cups. but i worry that Reece might show up & want his peanut butter cups, and then i'd be in big trouble

28. Who is your longest friend and how long? um... i'm not sure my friends would actually consent to being measured, even though they may like to brag about their length

29. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato? when i visited my grandfather at his home in Missouri when I was 13... i think

35. Last thing you bought at Walgreens? the last time i set foot inside a walgreens i was looking for a cat litter box, which they didn't have. before that it was probably 10 years since i'd been in a walgreens, so your guess is as good as mine

2. Been to church? yes, several times, which is several times more than a normal year. and which is different, to me, from going to temple

3. Cried yet? hell yeah. i can't get through a month without crying. cried last night, in fact

5. Pulled an all nighter? um... no. i haven't done that since college.... i've come close this year, though

6. Drunk starbucks? um yeah. there's one 2 blocks from my office, totally walking distance. i've been 3 times in the last week :-P

4. Snuck out of your own house? again, sneaking is not required. but i did have to break into a friends house. i was house-sitting and very sick (much sicker than i realized) and locked myself out... it was drama
